Any regular readers of this blog will know that we have our favourite artists, whose work we'll continue to support through thick and thin until they get to the level they're aiming at. One such artist, London crooner Azekel is taking things slower than most, but that tentative pace is yielding some truly exceptional results. We loved what we heard on the refined Raw, Vol.1 EP not too long ago, and now he's upped the game once more with a new song - drawn from 2016's Raw, Vol.2 - called, 'The War Inside'. It's another hyper-detailed R&B composition, punctuated by Azekel's tender, gripping falsetto vocal tapered around throbbing, thumping electronic pulses, rippling guitar licks and subtle percussive clacks.
